I’m a qualified psychodynamic psychotherapist working with adults once or twice-weekly, depending on your needs. I offer open-ended therapy although in certain circumstances short-term counselling might be an option.
We can all experience times in our life when we feel stuck, frustrated, challenged or distressed. Often these challenges bring up feelings from the past which impact on current relationships. Therapy allows you the space to explore and bring awareness to your patterns of behaving and relating to yourself and others.
Starting therapy can be a daunting process and I offer a confidential, non-judgmental space for you to explore whatever it is that brings you to therapy. The relationship that develops between us becomes an important part of understanding other relationships in your life.
I work with clients on a wide range of issues including relationship difficulties, low mood, anxiety, trauma, feeling life has lost meaning and purpose, bereavement, depression, identity and self-esteem issues.
I have worked as a psychotherapist within the NHS. I have also worked in the public, charity and legal sectors. I have experience working with clients of diverse ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation and religion.
Feel free to contact me on 07788884020 or [email protected] to arrange an initial consultation session. It is often helpful to meet for one or two consultation sessions to discuss your particular needs and to decide how to move forward.
Please contact me directly to discuss my rates. I offer some low-fee places for students and the unemployed.
